Overview
Punchlist is a Chrome extension that helps developers annotate webpages with visual feedback for AI coding agents. This policy explains what data the extension handles.
Data Collection
What the extension stores locally:
- Screenshots - Images of selected regions you annotate
- Annotations - Comments you create on webpages
- Position data - Coordinates of pins and selections
- Page URLs - URLs where you create annotations
What we do NOT collect:
- Personal information (name, email, etc.)
- Browsing history
- Passwords or form data
- Analytics or tracking data
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device.
- Data is stored in Chrome's local storage
- Data never leaves your browser
- No data is transmitted to external servers
- No data is shared with third parties
Data Export
When you export annotations:
- A ZIP file is downloaded to your computer
- The file is created locally, never uploaded
- You control what happens to the exported file
Data Deletion
- Delete individual annotations via the panel
- End your session to clear all annotations
- Uninstalling the extension removes all data
